How the live-service game decks play

Six decks follow games that keep changing after launch, ordered by when new content arrived. Fortnite appears twice, once for its big in-game live events and once for fifty-one crossover skins. The Apex Legends, Valorant and Overwatch decks list the characters added after each launch roster, in release order, and Genshin Impact sorts forty-three 5-star characters by the version that made them playable. Each card is placed on its own, and a wrong spot costs a life.

These reward people who played season to season and remember what was new each time they logged in, so pick the game you have sunk the most hours into. The trouble is pace: content arrives in steady waves, several heroes, agents or skins can land within a short span, and collabs in particular blur together. The Fortnite events deck, at eleven cards, is the gentlest way to begin.
