Create a Timeline Game
Build your own ordering game in a few minutes. You pick a topic and add the cards, then players have to place each one in the right spot on a timeline. It works for movie release years, the order a band put out its albums, when countries won independence, or anything else you can sort by a number. It is free, it runs in the browser, and every deck you make gets a link you can send to friends.

Make your own in three steps
- Name it and pick what puts the cards in order. That might be a release year, a chart position, a distance, or a Pokédex number. If you can sort your cards by a number, it works.
- Add your cards. Each card is a name, an optional note, and its number. Type them in, paste a list you already have, or let the built-in AI draft a starting set for you to fix up.
- Publish and share. Play it right away from its link, or put it on the Community page for everyone to find. When you edit it later the link stays the same, so anyone you sent it to always gets the current version.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Making decks and playing them costs nothing, there is no download, and it runs in any browser.
Can I share my timeline quiz?
Yes. Every deck has its own link you can text or post anywhere, and people can play without an account. If you want a bigger audience, submit it to the Community page.
What can a timeline be about?
Anything you can put in order by a number. People have made them for films, albums, historical events, sports records, book releases, and game launches, and you can even do a personal one for trips or milestones.
How many cards do I need?
A handful is plenty to start, and you can keep adding more whenever you like. More cards make the game longer and harder.
Do I need to know exact dates?
You choose the number that orders each card, so you decide how precise to be. There is also an optional setting that shows a Wikipedia picture when a card is placed.
