Character Debuts Timeline Games
Order famous characters by their first appearance, from Springfield to a galaxy far, far away.
Playing the character debut timelines
Three decks track when famous characters first appeared. Simpsons characters by debut has 40 Springfield residents dated by their first time on screen, counting the Tracey Ullman Show shorts. Star Wars characters by debut covers 40 figures from the films and TV shows. Pokemon anime characters by debut dates 30 of the show's cast by first Japanese air date. In each, the question is when someone showed up, not how big they became. Place cards one by one; a miss costs a life.
These are harder than release-order decks because a character's fame rarely matches the timing of their debut: background faces turn into favorites, and a big role can come seasons after a first cameo. Star Wars spans prequels, sequels and series, so story chronology and debut order often disagree. Simpsons fans who know the early seasons have an edge, and the Pokemon deck rewards anyone who watched beyond the first region.
