Superheroes Timeline Games
Order superheroes everywhere they appear: the Marvel and DC films, the Batman and Spider-Man movies, the X-Men, and the comic book debuts that started it all.

Playing the superhero timelines
Here the heroes appear both on screen and on the page. The film decks cover Marvel films, DCEU films, X-Men films, Batman films (live-action and animated together) and Spider-Man films and TV, all by release year. Marvel story order is different: 72 cards of events placed by when they happen inside the story. Four comic decks, Marvel character debuts, DC character debuts, Batman villains and X-Men and mutants, go by the cover date of a first appearance. Deck sizes run from 15 cards to 72. Cards arrive one at a time, and each misplaced card takes a life.
Moviegoers should start with X-Men films or DCEU films: short and mostly familiar. Marvel films is busier, with several releases in some years and phases that blur together. Marvel story order is the deep cut, since flashbacks and period settings scatter the events far from their release order. The comic debut decks favor longtime readers, as many famous characters arrived in a rush during each publisher's early days, and minor names hide among the famous ones.
