How to play the anime series timeline game
Every card here is a TV anime, and your job is to sort them by the year each one first aired. You start with one series already on the timeline, its year showing. Each new card arrives with only its title and studio, and you drop it into the gap where you think it belongs. Pick the right gap and its year appears and stays. Pick the wrong one and the card still lands where it really goes, but it costs you one of your three lives.
The deck spans the whole history of TV anime, from the black-and-white classics that started it all to series still airing today. It leans toward the modern era, so expect plenty of close calls between shows that feel like they came out around the same time. The studio on each card can nudge you in the right direction, but long-running favorites are where most runs come undone: a show you've always known isn't always as old as it seems.
