Kids' TV Timeline Games

Four channel decks carry most of this page: Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel and PBS Kids, each a run of original series ordered by the year it premiered. Next to them sit the Disney Channel Original Movies and two episode decks, SpongeBob and Bluey, where the cards are single episodes placed by air date. Every round works the same way: a card arrives with its title showing, you drop it into a gap on the line, and a miss costs one of your three lives.

Start with whichever channel you watched the most, because memory does a lot of the work here. The tricky part is that shows you met in reruns or on streaming feel newer than they are, and a channel's biggest hits often bunch together in a few busy seasons. PBS Kids reaches back the furthest, while the cartoon decks reward anyone who can tell one era of animation from the next.
