How the Nintendo timeline decks play
This page gathers every Nintendo deck in one place. Release-year decks cover Mario games, Zelda games, Pokémon games, Mario Kart, Kirby, Metroid, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing, with Kirby and Metroid appearing twice in long and short versions. Others ask for a different order: Metroid timeline by Samus's own story, Super Mario 64 courses and Super Mario Odyssey kingdoms in the order you reach them, Pokédex numbers across 159 cards, and Pokémon starters and box legendaries by generation. Pokémon TCG sets, Super Smash Bros. fighters and Pokemon anime characters fill out the list. Slot cards in one by one; a miss costs a life.
If you have played through Super Mario 64 or Odyssey, those 15-card decks are a gentle start. The release decks get harder with handhelds, since portable and console entries often landed close together, and remakes can muddle memory. Super Smash Bros. fighters is a sneaky one, because it dates each character's first game, not their Smash debut. Pokédex numbers is the marathon: knowing the regions helps, but the order within a generation takes real recall.
