SZA Timeline Games

SZA's two studio albums make for two very different decks. Ctrl, at 14 cards, is a tight record held together by short spoken clips and a steady emotional thread. SOS is one of the biggest decks in the album series at 23 cards, a long run of R&B, pop punk and rap turns. You place one song title at a time, and a wrong slot costs you a life.

Begin with Ctrl if you want a set you can hold in your head. SOS is the endurance test: the album wanders across genres on purpose, and with so many songs the back half is where most rounds come apart. Knowing the hits like Kill Bill gets you a few anchors, but the deep cuts decide it.
