How the Pittsburgh Pirates history timeline game works

A Pirates milestone is printed on each card, with a short caption below the title saying what happened, and you're ordering them by the year they took place. The game seeds the timeline with one card and shows its year. Every card dealt after that, you place in a gap among the ones already down. Right placements show the year. Wrong ones still put the card in its true spot, but they take one of your three lives.

Pittsburgh's deck runs from the earliest days of the franchise through several ballparks, a handful of championships and a long stretch of losing seasons.
