How the NFL career rushing yards game works

Here you rank the NFL's career rushing leaders by total yards. Cards show just the running back's name, except for anyone still playing, who is marked active. One back starts on the line with his yardage visible. Place each new card in the gap that fits his total. A correct guess reveals the number; a miss still puts him in place but uses up one of three lives.

Running backs wear down quickly, so this list rewards durability as much as brilliance. Every-down workhorses sit next to explosive backs whose careers ended early, and that contrast is where people go wrong. Totals in the lower part of the deck are close, so knowing roughly how many good seasons each back had is the key.
