How the Calgary Flames history timeline works

Each new card goes in the gap you think fits. When it fits, its year appears and it stays. When it doesn't, it slides into its true spot and you lose one of your three lives.

The Flames started out in the South before heading to Alberta, and the deck covers both chapters. Drafts make up a big share of the cards, alongside trades, deep playoff runs and a single championship. Number retirements are the cards to slow down on: they honor players long after they played, so they rarely sit near the moments those players are known for.
