How to play the NBA career blocks game

Rim protectors take over here: the NBA's career shot-blocking leaders, ranked by total blocks. Players still in the league are marked active; everyone else shows just a name. One player starts on the line with his block total showing. Place each new card where you think his total falls. A right answer reveals the number, and a wrong one moves him to his true spot while taking one of three lives.

Centers rule this list, but a few forwards with long arms and good timing sneak into the lower end. Like steals, blocks weren't recorded in the league's earliest years, so some famous big men don't appear at all. Defensive specialists who did little else can rank above all-round stars, and that's where most mistakes happen.
