How the NBA career steals game works

Here you rank the NBA's career steals leaders. Each card gives the player's name, with active printed underneath for anyone still playing. One defender starts on the line with his steal total in view. Choose a gap for each new card; correct placements reveal the number, and wrong ones still send him to his real place but cost one of three lives.

Guards and wings with quick hands make up most of the deck, along with some surprising names who were never known mainly for defense. The bottom of the list is full of solid players with long careers and similar totals. Steals have only been counted for part of the league's history, so a few early greats are missing entirely.
