How the NFL career receiving yards game works

NFL receivers are sorted here by career receiving yards. Active players are marked as such under their names; everyone else shows only a name. One receiver starts on the line with his yardage in view. Slot each new card into the gap where his total belongs. A right call reveals the number, and a wrong one still drops him into his correct place but costs one of three lives.

Wide receivers dominate, with a few tight ends mixed in, and those tight ends are easy to underrate. Durability matters a great deal, since a long career with steady production can beat a few spectacular seasons. The lower half is crowded with totals that sit close together, and active receivers are still adding to theirs.
