How the NFL career receptions game works

Sure hands rule this deck, which ranks the NFL's career receptions leaders by total catches. Players still in the league are marked active; the rest show only their names. One receiver begins on the line with his total visible. Place each new card in the gap where you think he belongs. A right answer reveals the number, and a miss still slides him into place while costing one of three lives.

Catches reward reliable possession receivers and tight ends as much as big-play stars, so a few names rank higher than their highlight reels suggest. The totals are close for much of the deck. Long careers count heavily here, and slot receivers who caught a lot of short passes are the ones people tend to place too low.
