Order the all-time NHL leaders by career saves (goaltending). You place all 50 cards in the right order, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
Shots stopped is what counts here, with NHL goaltenders ranked by career saves. Every card is labeled goaltender, and current goalies are marked active as well. You start with one netminder on the line and his total showing. For each new card, choose a gap among those already placed. Get it right and the save count appears; get it wrong and he still lands in his true place, costing one of three lives.
Saves reward goalies who played a lot of games and faced a lot of shots, so a busy career on a weaker team can rank higher than you'd guess. Longevity is the main thing to think about. The lower part of the deck includes plenty of journeymen and backups with long careers, and their totals sit very close together.
Here are 28 of the 50 cards you might be dealt, with 22 more in the deck. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
