Order by year of theatrical release. You place all 27 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
Each card is a James Bond film, with the actor who played Bond printed under the title, and you order them by year of theatrical release. One film is placed for you at the start, its year showing. For every new card, choose a gap among the films already down. Choose right and the year is revealed. Choose wrong and the film still lands where it belongs, but you lose one of your three lives.
Alongside the official series, this deck includes a couple of oddballs made outside it, which can trip up anyone counting only the main films. The actor's name sorts most cards into eras, so the real puzzle is the order inside each one. Some stretches went a long time without a new film, while others turned them out quickly.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
This deck has been played 44 times. An average run places 12.8 cards, and 84% of all placements land in the right spot. 25% of runs place every card.
The cards players get wrong most often:
The safest card is Skyfall, placed right every time it has come up.
