How to play the notable deaths timeline game
This timeline orders famous people by the year they died. Each card gives a name, with what the person was known for printed underneath. One person is placed at the start with that year showing. Choose where each new card fits among those already down, earlier or later. Drop it in the right place and the year appears. A wrong call moves the card to its real spot anyway and costs you one of your three lives.
Painters, composers, scientists, statesmen, film stars and musicians all appear, from the old masters to people lost only recently. The modern stretch is crowded with entertainers whose deaths made headlines, and the gaps between them can be tiny. Early fame is a trap: someone who peaked young may have lived far longer than you remember, while some icons died before their work was widely known.
