Order the David Lynch films by year of release. You place all 19 cards on one timeline, one at a time. Three wrong guesses ends the run.
David Lynch made far more than feature films, and this deck mixes them all in, one title per card. You order them by year of release. One begins on the timeline with its year visible. For each card you draw, pick a gap among those already placed. When it lands right, the year is shown; a wrong pick still moves it to its true position and takes one of three lives.
Besides the features, the deck takes in art shorts, a filmed stage piece, TV work, web series and anthology contributions, and those are the ones nobody remembers the order of. His features range from surreal horror and a sci-fi epic to a gentle road movie and dreamlike Hollywood mysteries. Several cards come from his small-town TV mystery, which helps group them but not place them.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
Here are 19 of the 19 cards you might be dealt. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
