How to play the Indy 500 winners timeline game

Drivers who won the Indianapolis 500 fill the deck, and they're ordered by the year of their first win. A note under each name describes the car, the finish or a detail of the victory. One winner starts on the timeline with the year visible. Place each new driver in a gap among those already down; get it right and the year shows, get it wrong and the driver still lands in place, but you lose one of three lives.

The race goes back to the earliest days of American motor racing, so the deck mixes brick-track pioneers with modern IndyCar stars and international drivers. The note is where the hints live: speed milestones, famous duels and team names can each narrow the window.
