How to play the Avatar: The Last Airbender plot order game

Each card is a moment from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the goal is to put them in the order they happen in the story, from Aang's rescue from the ice to the war's climax. The Book each moment comes from, Water, Earth or Fire, is printed under its name, and a scene the show tells in flashback carries a · flashback tag. One card starts on the line to anchor the story. Slot every new card before, after or between the ones already placed. A correct call reveals its spot; a wrong one still moves the card to where it belongs, but costs one of your three lives.

The Book label tells you which third of the journey a moment comes from, but each Book holds about twenty episodes, so the real work happens inside it. Track where the group is on the map and who is travelling with them, since Toph only joins partway through Earth and Zuko's loyalties shift more than once. A flashback card goes where it falls in the timeline, not in the Book that aired it, so a scene from Zuko's childhood sits before Aang ever leaves the iceberg. Zuko and Iroh's storyline also runs alongside Aang's, which makes their moments easy to misplace.
