How the Ajax history timeline game works

These cards are Ajax milestones: Dutch titles, European Cups, famous debuts, record sales, stadium openings and coaching appointments. You sort them by year. A short line under each title describes the moment. One milestone begins on the timeline with its year visible. Slot each new card into a gap. Right picks reveal the year; wrong ones still go to the true spot and cost one of your three lives.

Ajax's two golden ages, one built on a revolutionary attacking style and a later one built on a young academy side, account for many of the cards. The academy keeps producing stars, so debuts and departures run all through the deck. European nights cluster tightly in the first golden age. Former players who came back as coaches make it harder to tell the eras apart.
