How to play the Real Madrid history timeline

Each card is a Real Madrid milestone: European Cups, league titles, stadiums, famous signings and debuts. You place them by year, and each card has a short line under the title. One milestone sits on the timeline at the start with its year showing. Put each new card into a gap. When the spot is right, the year comes up; a wrong one still moves it to its real spot and costs you one of three lives.

Madrid's European record dominates the deck, and many cards are continental finals, so the opponents and host cities matter. Several titles use the club's own Spanish nicknames for its European wins, which help only if you know how far the count had got. The era of global superstar signings packs several cards close together. Debuts can catch you out, since a player's first game comes well before his best years.

Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
