Order by top recorded speed, slowest first. You place all 52 cards in the right order, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
Rank the animals by their top recorded speed, in kilometers per hour, slowest first. Each card names an animal and prints its group underneath: mammal, bird, reptile, fish, insect and so on. One animal starts on the line with its speed showing. For each new card, decide whether it ranks above or below the animals already placed and pick that gap. Get it right and its top speed is revealed; get it wrong and it still lands in its real spot, costing one of three lives.
It runs from creatures that barely move at all to some of the fastest animals on Earth, with plenty of land, sea and air life in between. The middle is the tough part, where very different animals end up with nearly the same top speed. Remember these are bursts, not cruising speeds, and diving counts. A familiar pet or farm animal can be quicker than you'd expect, and some big, scary predators are slower.
