How to play the Futurama episode timeline game

Every card is a memorable Futurama episode, and a one-line description sits under each title. Your job is to arrange them by original air date. The first card is already placed, its date in view. Read each new episode's hint and slide it into the gap where it fits among the ones already down. Pick correctly and its air date is shown; pick wrong and it jumps to its real position anyway, taking away one of three lives.

Futurama has been canceled and brought back more than once, so the deck has thick clusters with long silences between them. Most cards come from the original network run, with a few from the later revivals. Working out which era an episode belongs to is half the job; ordering episodes within the same era is where the deck turns mean. Sci-fi parodies and emotional gut-punches turn up in every stretch.

Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in exact air dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
