Order these Grand Prix winners by the year of their first F1 season. You place all 104 cards on one timeline, one at a time. Three wrong guesses ends the run.
In this deck you sort Formula One Grand Prix winners by the year of their first season in the championship. Each card shows the driver's nationality under the name. One driver begins on the timeline with their debut year showing. For each new card, pick a gap among the drivers already placed. Nail the gap and the year is revealed; a wrong one moves the driver to the right place and costs one of three lives.
The list runs from the championship's founding seasons through to drivers still racing, so expect plenty of close calls between contemporaries. A debut is not a breakthrough: many winners spent years in midfield cars before their first victory, and some champions arrived much earlier than their title runs suggest. Nationality narrows things only a little, since nearly every era had its share of British, Italian and French drivers.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
This deck has been played 13 times. An average run places 5.6 cards, and 65% of all placements land in the right spot. Nobody has placed every card yet.
Here are 28 of the 104 cards you might be dealt, with 76 more in the deck. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
