How the AMC shows timeline game works

The cards are AMC original series, with nothing printed beneath the titles, and you put them in order by the year each premiered. You begin with one show on the timeline and its year in view. Read each new card and decide which gap it belongs in among the shows already placed. Land it right and you see the year; get it wrong and the series still lands in its true spot, costing one of three lives.

AMC went from a movie channel to a prestige drama brand, and the deck follows that shift, with westerns, spy thrillers, horror and literary adaptations along the way. One zombie franchise accounts for many cards on its own, and its spin-offs are the hardest part: their titles sound alike, and they arrived at different points. Short-lived dramas are easy to misplace too.
