How to play the New Girl plot order game
Each card is a moment from New Girl, and the goal is to rebuild the order they happen in the story, from Jess answering an ad for a room in the loft to the gang packing up their things to move out. One card starts on the line. Slot each new card before, after or between the ones already down. A good call reveals its place; a bad one still moves the card to its proper spot, but costs one of your three lives.
Start with romance. Nick and Jess circle each other, date, split up and find their way back, so ask whether they are together, apart or pretending not to care. Schmidt and Cece follow their own long road from secret fling to marriage and a daughter. Jobs help as well: Jess goes from laid off teacher to vice principal and principal, Winston from sports radio to the police, and Nick from bartender to bar owner and author. Notice who lives in the loft, since the roommates keep changing.
