How to play The O.C. plot order game
Each card is a moment from The O.C., and the goal is to rebuild the order they happen in the story, from Ryan's arrest in Chino to Seth and Summer's wedding years later. One card starts on the line. Slot each new card before, after or between the ones already down. A good call reveals its place; a bad one still moves the card to its proper spot, but costs one of your three lives. The show runs straight ahead, so every card follows the one before it, school year by school year.
Follow the romances and the funerals. Ryan moves from Marissa to Theresa, Lindsay, Sadie and Taylor, while Marissa dates Luke, Oliver, Alex and Volchok, while Johnny pines after her. Seth swings between Summer and Anna before settling down. Ask who is still alive: Caleb, Johnny and Marissa each die at a different point. Julie's fortunes are a strong clue too, from her marriage to Caleb to a trailer park and then an engagement to Neil. Where Ryan sleeps, the pool house or Chino, can also narrow a card down.
