Order by the year each couple won Love Island (UK or US). You place all 21 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
The cards are winning couples from Love Island, with UK or US printed underneath, and you put them in order by the year they won. One couple opens on the timeline with the year in view. Each new pair has to be squeezed into the gap you think fits. Guess correctly and the year is revealed; guess wrongly and the couple is set in its true place while one of your three lives disappears.
Both versions share the same line, so many years hold two winning couples, and a winter series turns up now and then as well. The couples who stayed together or became fixtures on social media are easiest to place; those who split soon after the final are where memory gets hazy. Knowing which islanders went on to bigger careers is the best help you've got.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
Here are 21 of the 21 cards you might be dealt. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
