How to play the Badlands track order game
Every card is a song from Badlands, Halsey's debut album, and you're putting them back in running order. The line starts with one track already down at its number. Each new title asks you for a gap. If your gap is the right one, you see the track number. If it isn't, the song still moves the song to its real place, at the cost of one of three lives.
Halsey built Badlands as a concept album set in a dystopian desert, a stand-in for her own state of mind, with dark synth-pop and moody electronic beats. The songs share that brooding sound, so tempo won't help much. A couple of singles stand out as anchors. The rest are slow-burning album tracks that are easy to swap.
