How to play the Mayhem track order game
Mayhem is Lady Gaga's return to dark, dance-floor pop, and the task is to rebuild its order from its songs. A track sits on the line from the start, its number in view. You draw titles one at a time, with nothing else printed, and choose a gap for each. A correct gap reveals the track number; a wrong gap still places the song properly but costs one of your three lives.
The album pulls from industrial pop, funk, synth-rock and her earliest dance records, with a gothic streak. It changes moods fast, so neighbors on the tracklist can sound nothing alike. A big duet that came out well before the album is included, and its familiarity doesn't make it easier to place. The newer album cuts are where most players stumble.
