Order The Rolling Stones studio albums by year of release. You place all 29 cards on one timeline, one at a time. Three wrong guesses ends the run.
Each card is a Rolling Stones album, shown by title alone, and you order them by the year each was released. One album opens the timeline with its year showing. Read each new card and place it before, between or after the records already down. Place it well and the year comes into view; incorrect ones still send the album to its real slot and cost one of your three lives.
The run is long: the British blues covers and separate American editions of the early years, the classic records that followed, the disco and new wave turns, and a long string of later albums. The early stretch is a thicket, with several albums out in the same year on either side of the Atlantic. Later records are more spread out, but they're also the ones most people can't place.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
Here are 28 of the 29 cards you might be dealt, with 1 more in the deck. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
