How to play the A24 films timeline game

Every card is a film released by A24, and you order them by year of release. Most cards show the director under the title, though a few leave it off. The game opens with one film already on the timeline and its year revealed. Read each new card and drop it into the gap where you think it belongs. Choose well and the year appears; a wrong call still moves the film to its true spot but costs one of your three lives.

The studio is young, so the whole deck is squeezed into a short window, and many cards share a release year with their neighbors. Art-house horror, coming-of-age dramas, offbeat comedies and awards contenders sit side by side.
