How to play the X-Men films timeline game
Every card is a film from the X-Men series, including the Deadpool and Wolverine spin-offs, and you sort them by year of release. The director is printed under each title. One film is already placed when you begin, with its year in view. Each new card goes into a gap of your choosing. Drop it in the right place and the year appears; a wrong one still sends the film to its true spot but costs one of your three lives.
The series rebooted itself with a younger cast and later folded the two casts together, so the story's own timeline is a poor guide to release order. Spin-offs for the clawed hero and the wisecracking mercenary run alongside the main films. Directors who returned several times help link cards, and some titles sound alike, so read each one carefully.
