How the Pearl Jam albums timeline works
The cards are Pearl Jam albums, title only, and you order them by release year. To begin, one album is on the timeline with its year showing. Every new card goes into a gap before, between or after the albums already down. A right guess shows the year; a wrong guess moves the album to its real spot and costs one of your three lives.
The first few records came out fast, at the height of grunge, and they're the easiest to confuse with each other. After that the band settled into a slower rhythm, with longer gaps and a looser, more varied sound. A soundtrack and an archival live set are here as well, so not every title is a studio album.
