Order by the year each Rocky or Creed film was released. You place all 10 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
Each card is a film from the Rocky saga or its Creed continuation, with the director printed under the title, and you put them in release order. The first card sits on the timeline with its year already revealed. Read each new card and pick the gap where it belongs among the films placed so far. Right gap, and the year appears. Wrong gap, and the film still takes its correct spot while you lose one of your three lives.
The story follows a Philadelphia fighter from underdog to elder statesman before handing the gloves to a new generation. The numbered sequels are friendly enough. One card, though, is a recut of an earlier film rather than a new story, and it's easy to place by its source instead of its release. Stallone's name shows up often in the director line, so it won't settle much on its own.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
Here are 10 of the 10 cards you might be dealt. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
