Order by the year each film came out. You place all 55 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
The cards here are songs that became inseparable from a film: James Bond title tracks, power ballads, Disney numbers and rap anthems. Under each title you'll see the artist and the movie, and you order the cards by the year that movie came out. One song begins on the line with its year showing. Place every new card in a gap. A right call shows you the year; a wrong one still slides the song into its true spot but takes one of your three lives.
Go by the film rather than the radio, since a single can appear before or after its movie, and some songs existed long before a soundtrack picked them up. Bond themes give you a neat ladder if you can remember who played the spy when. Big soundtrack hits bunch together in places, so expect some close calls. Remakes can trip you up as well, because a familiar movie title doesn't always point to the version you're thinking of.
Want a longer game? On the deck tree you can tick this deck alongside any other one measured in release years and dates, and they shuffle into a single timeline together.
Here are 28 of the 55 cards you might be dealt, with 27 more in the deck. Their values stay hidden until you place them.
