Order by the year each song won the Eurovision Song Contest. You place all 71 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
The cards are Eurovision Song Contest winners, each showing the song title with the performer and country printed below. You arrange them by the year each song won. A single winning song is already sitting on the line, its year in view. From there, every card goes into a gap before, between or after the songs already placed. A right call reveals the year; a wrong one moves the song to its true slot and takes a life, and three such slips end it. Place ten winners in a row correctly and a lost life comes back.
The contest's history runs from a small gathering of Western European broadcasters, heavy on chansons and ballads, to the huge modern show with entries from across the continent and beyond. Countries that joined later make good anchors, while the old guard of regular winners shows up in every era. One contest ended in a tie with several winners, so some cards share a year, and a couple of performers won more than once.
