Order these foods by protein per 100 g. You place all 28 cards in the right order, one at a time. Three wrong guesses ends the run.
Everyday foods are ranked here by how many grams of protein they contain per 100 grams. One food starts on the line with its protein figure showing. For each new card, decide whether it goes above or below the foods already placed. A correct call reveals the grams of protein; a wrong one still puts the food in its real spot and costs one of your three lives.
Meat, fish, dairy, nuts, grains, fruit and pantry staples all appear. Watch the notes in parentheses: whether a food is weighed cooked or dry makes a big difference, because cooked grains and beans hold a lot of water. Several foods have little or no protein, so the bottom of the line is crowded. Nuts, spreads and even some snacks tend to surprise people.
This deck has been played 36 times. An average run places 3.6 cards, and 55% of all placements land in the right spot. Nobody has placed every card yet.
