How the food sugar ranking game works

How sweet is it, really? Each card is an everyday food, and you're ranking them by grams of sugar per 100 grams. One food is placed first with its sugar figure showing. Every new card goes above or below the foods already on the line. A correct placement reveals the grams of sugar; an incorrect one still puts the food in its proper spot but costs you one of three lives.

Sugar is concentrated in a few sweet foods, so most of the deck huddles near the bottom, where tiny differences decide everything. Savory staples hide a little more than you'd think, and fruit lands somewhere in between. Natural sugar counts the same as added sugar here. Starchy foods are not the same as sugary ones, which catches a lot of players out.

How players are doing

  • White bread missed 71% of the time, usually by a single place
  • Whole milk missed 71% of the time, usually by about 2 places
