How to play the MLB career home runs game

Every card is one of MLB's all-time home run leaders, and you're ranking them by career homers. Under each name you'll see either the years he played or, for current players, the word active and his team. One slugger starts on the line with his total showing. Place each new card in the gap where you think his total falls. Get it right and the number is revealed; get it wrong and he still moves to his true spot, costing one of three lives.

The top of the chart is full of famous names, but the lower half is a crowd of sluggers separated by a handful of homers. Active players are still adding to their totals, so think about where they stand today, not where they'll finish. The career span helps you judge how long someone had to pile up home runs, though a short, explosive career can outrank a long, steady one.
