How to play the MLB career saves game

Closers get their own deck here, with MLB's career saves leaders ranked by saves. Retired relievers show the years they pitched, and current ones are marked active with their team. One closer starts on the line with his total showing. Slot every new card into the gap where his total belongs. A correct placement reveals the number; a wrong one still puts him in place but costs one of three lives.

Saves are a reliever's stat, and a lot of this deck is still pitching, so many cards carry the active label. Closers can have short careers in the role, which means a dominant few seasons may not add up to as much as you'd think. The lower half is crowded with similar totals, and that's where most runs end.
