Order these champions by the year they were released in League of Legends. You place all 40 cards on one timeline, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
The cards are League of Legends champions, each with its class and title printed underneath, such as Mage or Marksman followed by the champion's epithet. You order them by the year Riot released them. One champion begins on the timeline with its year displayed, and you place every new one into a gap. When the gap is right, the year shows and the card stays. When it's wrong, the champion still lands in its real position and you burn one of three lives, though a streak of ten correct placements restores one.
The game launched with a big starting roster and added champions at a furious pace in its first stretch, so the early part of the line is crowded and close. Later releases slowed down and got more elaborate, with heavier lore and flashier kits. Reworks don't count, which catches people out: a champion with a fresh look may be one of the originals. The class line rarely settles anything, since every era had its marksmen, mages and fighters.
