How the Assassin's Creed era order game works

Every card is an Assassin's Creed game, and you order them by the historical period each one is set in, not by release. Under each title is the protagonist you play. One game starts on the line with its place showing. Put each new card in the gap where you think its era falls. Right placements reveal its position in the historical order; wrong ones still move it to its true spot and cost one of your three lives.

The series hops around history from the ancient world to the industrial age, and release order is no help at all. The protagonist line is your best tool if you can picture where and when each hero lived. Several games share a hero, and their order is the easy part; the tricky stretches are where different heroes' eras sit close together. A rough sense of world history beats series knowledge here.
