Order the chapters of Celeste the way you climb them, from the base of the mountain to Farewell. You place all 11 cards in the right order, one at a time. You start with three lives, and ten right in a row wins a lost one back.
Each card is a chapter of Celeste, and the job is to put them back in the order Madeline climbs them. Only the chapter name is printed. One chapter is on the line from the start with its position showing. Pick a gap for each new card. A correct pick shows its place in the order; a wrong one still puts it in its true spot and costs one of three lives.
The climb runs from the foot of the mountain to the top, then on into the extra chapters that follow the main story. The story chapters in the middle are the hardest to separate if you only played through once. Thinking about the story helps more than thinking about difficulty, since Madeline's struggle with her other self shapes where each chapter falls.
This deck has been played 14 times. An average run places 8.7 cards, and 90% of all placements land in the right spot. 93% of runs place every card.
